East Stroudsburg presents Student Organization awards

East Stroudsburg University’s Student Activity Association in conjunction with the Student Government Association hosted their annual Student Organization Award Banquet on Feb. 23.
The banquet honored select clubs and organizations for their achievements during the 2021 calendar year.
Best Buddies was awarded the Most Active on Campus Award. Members of Best Buddies at ESU include Galina Baron of Chalfont, Nicole Decicco of Quakertown, David Gray of Warminster, Kaylie Mcvan of Yardley, Dom O’hanlon of Warrington, Sara Patrizio of Fairless Hills, Annie Shoffler of Doylestown, Karli Sides of Croydon and Amanda Winchester of Langhorne.
The Computer Science Organization was awarded the Community Service/Philanthropy Program Award.
Members include Peter Mamounas of Warminster, John Winward of Bensalem and William Youse of Quakertown.
The Latin American Association was awarded the Multicultural Program Award.
Members include Janeyh Mosquera of Levittown and Laura Ortiz of Morrisville.

The Hospitality Tourism Management Club was awarded the Educational Program Award.
Members include Carly Zumar of Levittown, Hannah Einwechter of Yardley, Kristina Krapf of Doylestown, Madeline Dean of Quakertown, Paige Amrein of Newtown and Samantha DiSandro of Feasterville Trevose.
Student Pennsylvania State Education Association was named the student organization most involved in fundraising. Members include Abby Laudenberger of Quakertown, Kayle Funk of Richlandtown, Kristina Krapf of Doylestown and Natalie Sullivan of Bensalem.
Delta Chi Fraternity received the Student Engagement Hero Award. Joseph Whalen, of Perkasie is a member.
The Sign Language Club received the Gold Standard Award and won the Club of the Year Award.
Members include Kylie Cheffer of Croydon and Megan Lee of Sellersville.
