Host Central Bucks East defeated Council Rock South 57-34 in the opening round of the District One Class 6A girls basketball tournament last Friday.
The No. 11 Patriots (16-7) advanced to play No. 6 Ridley on the Green Raiders’ home court Wednesday night; results of the second-round district game were unavailable at press time. The No. 22 Golden Hawks concluded the season at 10-13.
