Doylestown Rotary seeks funding proposals for 2019 grants

Posted
Rotary Club of Doylestown asks local organizations that provide services to Doylestown and Bucks County citizens to submit grant requests for 2019 community projects by Jan. 31.

The club seeks requests for up to $5,000 ($10,000 for projects between two organizations) to fund projects that meet a current local need focusing on promoting peace, education relating to addiction and expressions of hate, families at risk, victims of abuse and capital projects supporting all four.

For submission requirements, visit clubrunner.blob.core.windows.net/00000003052/en-ca/files/homepage/2019-request-for-proposal-rfp/2019-RFP.pdf.

Grant requests should not support ongoing requirements and should not supplement payroll for existing staff. Priority consideration is given to projects between two organizations, those with matching funds reported on the application, and those that demonstrate sustainability.

Each organization may submit only one request.

All grant requests should also align with the Object of Rotary, which is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise. Direct questions about a proposal to Bill Shoffler, director of service projects, at WShoffler@comcast.net.

Doylestown Rotary will evaluate all requests and announce grant awards by March 31. The awards will be formally presented at the annual Four Way Test Awards Breakfast on April 24.
