Thousands filled the center of town Friday night for the borough’s 109th Annual Tree Lighting event and Doylestown Winterfest.
The tree at State and Main streets cast a bright green glow on the festivities, which included appearances by Anna and Elsa of Frozen fame, the Grinch and, of course Santa and Mrs. Claus; a parade, and performances by the Central Bucks West Choir and Bucks County Country Gentlemen.
Doylestown Winterfest was organized by volunteers of Discover Doylestown and supported by Simply Fresh by McCaffrey’s, The Borough of Doylestown, Doylestown Fire Company #1 and members of the community.
