Doylestown Presbyterian Church to host Memorial Day Street Picnic

Posted

Gearing up for the annual Doylestown Memorial Day Parade? Looking for a quick (and free) bite to eat during all the excitement?

Stop by Doylestown Presbyterian Church – located right along the Memorial Day Parade Route as it moves up Court Street from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, May 27, for complimentary coffee, doughnuts, hot dogs, cookies, and drinks.

Set up a blanket in the churchyard, at 127 E. Court St., and enjoy the atmosphere or find a prime curbside seat for the parade.

Associate Pastor Becca Bateman is looking forward to once again sharing in the day with her family.

“As you can see, we’ve got everything you need for the parade, and as a mom of kids, the most important things to me are shade and bathrooms! While you’re here you’ll be able to see we are a church who cares for its community and is proud to be a part of it — not just on this special day, but all year. If you are looking for a church, let’s get to know each other.”
