Doylestown Health encourages the community to participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.
Administered locally by Doylestown Health’s partners at the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission, Doylestown Hospital is among 48 public collection sites throughout Bucks County participating in this year’s prescription drug take-back event.

In addition to prescription medications, law enforcement officers will be collecting over-the-counter and pet medications, vitamins, vaping products and more. Plus, select sites throughout the county will be collecting medications and sharps and distributing Narcan on Oct. 28.
Doylestown Hospital has also both medication and sharps drop boxes located in the emergency department and accessible 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
