Celebrate The Year of the Pig by viewing the critically acclaimed documentary, “The Last Pig,” which journeys into the life of a pig farmer as he grapples with death, searches for compassion, and finally finds the courage to change.
Proceeds from this film go to support Pig Placement Network (PPN) in Rushland, a valuable resource for pet pig education which finds loving homes for pigs in need all over the country.
The film will be show at the County Theater, 20 E. State St., Doylestown, at 10 a.m. March 9. There will be a discussion and Q&A before the film with Ross Mill Farm and PPN founder, Susan Magidson. Doors open at 9 a.m.
The showing is hosted by Jenny Hughes on the one-year anniversary of adopting her two pigs, Saoirse and Harriet.
