The Quaker Steak and Lube 13th annual Dirt Track Heroes Car Show is fast approaching with plans of highlighting the past, present and future of auto racing, all coming together under one roof, Friday, March 6 to Sunday, March 8 at the Palmer Park Mall in Easton.
With the change in venue, the show will have an even more exciting feel. The-three day show will be a tribute to Doug Hoffman and the racing legacy he left behind. Event organizers are also dedicating this event to the racing promotional team of Steve and Ed Pados, both instrumental in the past success of this show. In addition, IRCO Community Federal Credit Union will again be part of the special tribute to auto racing.
The schedule of events includes a special small car event saluting the Quarter Midget club, Go Karts, Micro Stocks, Slingshots, Micro Sprints, Stage One Modifieds, Xcel 600 Modifieds and all other small cars that offer affordable fun racing for all ages. Snyderville Raceway and Oreville Kart Club with be the title sponsors for this event.
Also on tap this year will be a special autograph session. Dorney Park and Mahoning Valley Speedway drivers past and present will be on hand for autographs and a meet and greet Saturday, March 7 at the Dirt Track Heroes show in the main stage area in the former Bon Ton store at the Palmer Park Mall at 2 p.m.
Race cars, tracks, and organizations are all welcome to be part of the show, and vendors are welcome as well. Sponsor packages are also available if you would like to have your business be a part of the show.
