Pines Dinner Theatre, 448 N. 17th St., Allentown, is set to premiere “He Said, She Said” as the theater launches its Pines on the Patio 2020 Summer Season.
“While we patiently wait to open our main theater, we have been working on ways to still be able to entertain our guests,” the theater said via email. “With outdoor dinging currently permitted in Allentown, we are taking the opportunity to offer dinner and show experience outside.”
Every Thursday and Saturday evening starting June 20, guests will be offered a la carte dining on the patio and then the show under the stars. Seating begins at 5:45 p.m., and the show begins at approximately 7 p.m. Reserved seating is $20 for the show. All food and beverages are available for an additional charge.
“He Said, She Said,” a new show written by Oliver Blatt, features the talents of Jen Hope and Kristopher Holz.
After taking a break from show business, the Catskills act of Hope and Holz reunites on stage as they share their stories of working the circuit, along with some of their favorite songs. But as the evening progresses, some of their old disagreements, and old passion comes out, and the show becomes anything but what they planned.
Stacy Bechtel is music director, and costumes are by Stacey B. Yoder.
“He Said, She Said” plays Thursdays and Saturdays June 20 through 27, and July 9 through Aug. 22. For information, call 610-433-2333 or visit Pinesdinnertheatre.com
