The David Kim Orchestral Institute of Cairn University will host its annual Violin & Viola Summit June 15 to 22.
David Kim, concertmaster of The Philadelphia Orchestra, serves as the artistic director of the institute and hand-selects the faculty members from around the country. Audition applications are now open. Apply and find more information at

The David Kim Orchestral Institute is an eight-day summer music festival focused on violin and violists orchestral playing and in general, improved performance practice.
Participants experience private lessons, master classes, mock auditions, and workshops from the finest musicians and clinicians in the classical music world in a nurturing environment that fosters personal, musical and spiritual growth.
Orchestras that are represented in the faculty include Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, the Metropolitan Opera, LA Philharmonic, and many more.
