Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at 2,779,921

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed that on March 29, there were 458 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide cumulative total cases to 2,779,921.

There were 7 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry and reported for a cumulative total of 44,238 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

There are 475,490 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases. There are 6,143,682 individuals who have tested negative to date.

The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. For the protection of themselves and others, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated, are still encouraged to wear a mask when in public.

  • Bucks County: 122,815 cases and 1,872 deaths
  • Chester County: 91,414 cases and 1,139 deaths
  • Delaware County: 109,629 cases and 1,859 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 89,209 cases and 1,230 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 151,816 cases and 2,300 deaths
  • Northampton County: 79,314 cases and 1,082 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 307,693 cases and 5,063 deaths
