Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at 2,777,260

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed that on March 24, there were 1,017 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide cumulative total cases to 2,777,260.
There were 20 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry and reported for a cumulative total of 44,091 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
There are 475,010 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases. There are 6,132,104 individuals who have tested negative to date.
The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. For the protection of themselves and others, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated, are still encouraged to wear a mask when in public.

  • Bucks County: 122,690 cases and 1,871 deaths
  • Chester County: 91,263 cases and 1,134 deaths
  • Delaware County: 109,494 cases and 1,852 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 89,138 cases and 1,230 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 151,561 cases and 2,299 deaths
  • Northampton County: 79,169 cases and 1,079 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 307,142 cases and 5,045 deaths
