Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at 2,775,728

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed that on March 22, there were 385 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide cumulative total cases to 2,775,728.

There were 10 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry and reported for a cumulative total of 44,091 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

There are 474,580 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases. There are 6,126,511 individuals who have tested negative to date.

The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. For the protection of themselves and others, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated, are still encouraged to wear a mask when in public.

  • Bucks County: 122,597 cases and 1,869 deaths
  • Chester County: 91,193 cases and 1,132 deaths
  • Delaware County: 109,424 cases and 1,850 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 89,095 cases and 1,229 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 151,385 cases and 2,297 deaths
  • Northampton County: 79,169 cases and 1,079 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 307,142 cases and 5,045 deaths
