Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at 2,792,250

Harrisburg - The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed that on April 13, there were 943 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide cumulative total cases to 2,792,250.

There were zero new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry and reported for a cumulative total of 44,442 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

There are 2,314,046 confirmed cases and 478,204 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases. There are 6,177,687 individuals who have tested negative to date.

The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules, and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. For the protection of themselves and others, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated, are still encouraged to wear a mask when in public.

  • Bucks County: 123,455 cases and 1,882 deaths
  • Chester County: 92,080 cases and 1,144 deaths
  • Delaware County: 110,302 cases and 1,868 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 89,587 cases and 1,235 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 152,983 cases and 2,310 deaths
  • Northampton County: 79,705 cases and 1,086 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 309,812 cases and 5,081 deaths

The Department of Health continues to provide the public with extensive and frequently updated data on both the COVID-19 dashboard and the vaccine dashboard. Both dashboards provide an interactive experience for the user to review statewide and local-level data updated daily.

The department will continue to provide data via online dashboards; however, starting in late April, the dashboards will be updated on a weekly basis.
