In 2020, many people were feeling isolated due to COVID-19. Sagar was looking for a creative solution when she saw a 20-piece white puzzle and was reminded of how puzzles fit together to form a whole and the “We Are All Connected Art Project” was born.
She’s received over 1,000 puzzle pieces done by artists of all ethnicities, genders, ages and stature, whose collective voice is reaching out to be connected through the creative spirit from all over the United States and 25 other countries. Many pieces come with a note of appreciation or a personal story of how important it is to be included.
The intention is to gather and express the power of being connected at a time when the world seems deeply divided.
Sagar has studios in both Bucks County and Miami.
Nearly all of the puzzle images can be seen on her Instagram @beasagar.
