Concordia Chamber Players open season at Trinity Episcopal Church in Solebury

Concordia Chamber Players will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 6587 Upper York Road, Solebury.
At this first concert of the season, the players welcome the prize-winning Juilliard Masters Candidate Adam Phan on harp. He is quickly becoming one of the bright young stars of the harp world.
In addition, they will introducing the element of dance for the first time in this concert. Antoine Hunter and Zahna Simon come from the Urban Jazz Dance Company, California’s only black, deaf-led professional dance company. Rounding out the group for the program will be Siwoo Kim on violin and Michelle Djokic on cello.

The concert program includes: “Suite for cello and harp “– Lou Harrison; “Trio for violin, cello, and harp” – Henriette Renié; and “Trio for violin, cello, and harp” – Jacques Ibert.
Tickets are $35 for in-person attendance, or $25 for a digital stage pass at concordiaplayers.org. The concert will air online one week after the live performance, at 3 p.m. Nov. 21. There will be a free open rehearsal at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Trinity Church.
Season tickets for Concordia are available online until Nov. 10.
