Guitarist Beppe Gambetta will perform at the New Hope Winery, Friday, Oct. 22, as part of a benefit concert to raise funds for the rebuilding of the Canal Music Studios, which were destroyed as a result of flooding caused by the remnants of Hurricane Ida.
Also performing that evening are special guests Adrienne Walsh and Guy Heller. The show begins at 7 p.m., at 6123 Lower York Road (Route 202 South) approximately 3 miles outside New Hope in Solebury Township. There is ample free parking. Tickets are $40 and may be purchased at newhopewinery.com or 215-794-2331.
The school, located in Lambertville, N.J., provided instruction to children and adults in a wide range of musical genres and instrumentation that included voice, piano, violin, guitar, drums, woodwinds, and strings.
Canal Music Studios was built in 2013, originally by two local musicians. Adrienne Walsh is a classical violinist and pianist, former member of Symphony in C and the Allentown Symphony Orchestra. Her former partner George Laks, was longtime keyboardist for Lenny Kravitz.
