Comedian brings one-man show to New Hope Winery

Posted
Nationally touring comedian Lucas Bohn will perform his one-man show, “Lesson Plans to Late Night,” at the New Hope Winery on March 1.

Bohn started his professional career as a fifth-grade teacher while pursing stand-up comedy as a hobby. His first year teaching, he was nominated teacher of the year for his district.

“Lesson Plans to Late Night” is a one-man comedy show about the transition from elementary school teacher to national touring comedian. The show combines live storytelling, stand-up comedy and a multimedia presentation.

The show has been compared to “Defending the Caveman” and was called “a comedic multimedia masterpiece” and “hysterical” by Parade Magazine.

In 2018 “Lesson Plans to Late Night” was filmed as a two-part comedy special for a major streaming service. The teaser reels for this special have been viewed more than 26 million times.

The New Hope Winery is located at 6123 Lower York Road, New Hope. Tickets are $20 at 215-794-2331 or newhopewinery.com/live-music/.
