Clawson House presents “Flowers Up Close and Personal”

Posted

“Flowers Up Close and Personal” is a new exhibit by Charles T. Miller being presented at the Clawson House in Ringoes, N.J. “April showers bring May flowers” … what better way to celebrate the season than with an exhibit of floral images that are “not just from my backyard” said Miller, a Ringoes resident and photographer – known by many as a flower photographer. Miller strives to do more than simply take pictures of the flowers; he captures them in ways that show off their shapes, colors and uniqueness. In addition to the floral images Miller will exhibit some images that may invoke a smile, or generate thoughtful consideration. Miller is a self-taught photographer, but brings a background in the arts to his shooting. He is a trained theater designer and arts administrator, with an emphasis on arts education. He began seriously working with photography 15 years ago. He has shown in many galleries around the state and his photos have won a number of awards. Miller manages two galleries at MPAC in Morristown; is a member of Gallery 14 in Hopewell; is exhibition committee chair for New Jersey Photography Forum; is a board member for the NJ Art Association. The exhibit continues from 1 to 4 p.m. May 14, 15, 28, 29.
