Christmas Dinner with Mrs. Catherine Tennent and Local Author, Patrick McFadden

The William Tennent House Association cordially invites you to a Christmas Dinner featuring “Mrs. Catherine Tennent” (Wendy Wirsch) and local author, Mr. Patrick McFadden.

Wendy will be discussing William Tennent, his life, the Log College, and the Great Awakening. Wendy is the President of the William Tennent House Association and historian of the Neshaminy-Warwick Presbyterian Church which was established in 1726 by William Tennent.

Patrick is focused on 18th century American history and will discuss the role German and Scotch-Irish immigrants (such as the Tennent family) had in the politics of the Mid-Atlantic colonies leading up to the Revolutionary War. Patrick is the author of “An American Tale of Freedom’s Promise,” a historical fiction novel about the struggle for American Liberty from Britain during the early years of the American Revolution.

Our buffet menu for the evening includes the following:

Appetizers—Pigs-N-Blanket, Fresh Veggie Platter
House Salad with two dressings

Entrees—Chicken Parmigiana, Hot Roast Beef with Rolls
Side—Mixed Vegetables
Pasta—Penne with Marinara Sauce
Desserts—Tiramisu and Cannoli

The cost to attend is $45 per person. The reservation deadline is NOVEMBER 27TH.

Reservations can be made by check payable to William Tennent House Association and mailed to P.O. Box 2572, Warminster, PA 18974 along with your name, contact information and number attending.

Proceeds benefit the William Tennent House Preservation Project.
