Posted

The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) of Trevose, honored four top employees during a recent online celebration, including naming Digital News Director Chris Ruvo as its 2021 Employee of the Year.
In honoring Ruvo, ASI CEO Tim Andrews said, “Whether reporting on COVID-related industry trends, staffing shortages or the supply chain crisis, Chris was instrumental in putting ASI Media on the map during an unprecedented time in history – helping earn himself and his colleagues even more prestigious national awards. His reporting substantially elevated ASI’s standing in the industry to new heights and is, frankly, of immeasurable worth. While the work he’s accomplished this last year is spectacular, this award also acknowledges the iron-clad reputation as a consummate professional Chris has built over the past decade at ASI.”

In addition to his work at ASI, Ruvo has worked as a freelance correspondent for local newspapers, including the Bucks County Herald, for about a decade. Ruvo lives in Tinicum Township with his wife, Jessie, and sons Luke, 13; Dylan, 11; and Henry, 6 months.
In addition to Ruvo, ASI honored senior web designer Becky Young as its Rising Star of the Year, for being tireless, creative and a superior problem solver; senior financial business systems analyst Nataliya Royzman as its Innovator of the Year for her pioneering efforts in both accounting and IT; and User Experience Interaction designer Virginia “Vee” Lucas as its Unsung Hero for contributing to ASI and her department in every possible way throughout the pandemic. ASI (www.asicentral.com) is a media and technology company that serves the $20.7 billion promotional products industry.
