Charity Golf Challenge in Bensalem to benefit 11 organizations

Posted

Registration is now open for the Bensalem Economic Development Corporation annual Charity Golf Challenge on Wednesday, June 7, at Bensalem Township Country Club.

Now in its 17th year, the golf tournament is the signature fundraiser of the Bensalem Economic Development Corporation (BEDC), which has donated more than $450,000 to area organizations.

New this year: the tournament raffle grand prize includes two tickets to see Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band at Citizens Bank Park this August. Single golfers, twosomes and foursomes can register at https://birdease.com/Bensalem2023golfevent for packages that include green fees, golf cart, lunch, dinner and cocktails, gift packs, door prizes and more.

A hole-in-one at each par-three hole will win you a brand-new GMC truck, vacation or golf equipment and apparel provided by the event’s title sponsor, Faulkner Automotive Group. The Bader Foundation is the premier sponsor of the event, and other supporting sponsors include Parx Casino and Penn Community Bank. Sponsorship opportunities at a variety of levels and budgets remain available.

This year’s proceeds benefit Bensalem Little League, Gary Sinise Foundation, Libertae Bensalem, Liberty USO, Love Tabernacle Food Pantry, Police Activities League, Relay for Life Bensalem, Rescue Purrfect, STEM Scholarship Bensalem High School, Tifereth Israel Food Pantry, Women’s Animal Center and Youth Speaker Bensalem Schools.
