The amphitheater at Central Park got a new name Feb. 5.
Barbara Lyons, chairman of the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors, reported that the Covenant Bank Amphitheater will now be the Monument Bank Amphitheater.
Monument Bank will be the sponsor of the amphitheater for the next three years. The bank is paying the township $50,000 over a three-year period to do so.
Lyons said that Monument is excited to be part of the community.
“They really want to help Doylestown Township and the Central Bucks community in doing what we do best, providing a place for everyone to come and have fun and be entertained.”
The Thompson Performing Arts Series will continue for the next three years.
