Central Bucks School District congratulates the 1,539 members of the district’s Class of 2022

Each of Central Bucks School Districts’ three high schools will host commencement ceremonies this evening, beginning at 2 p.m. at Central Bucks High School East (CB East), followed by 4:15 p.m. at Central Bucks High School South (CB South), and finally, at 6:30 p.m. at Central Bucks High School West (CB West). The CBSD Class of 2022 includes 1,539 graduates across three schools, CB East: 480, CB South: 565, CB West: 494.

The following students will be recognized as first and second in their class, respectively:

  • CB East Valedictorian: Esther Cheng | Salutatorian: Joshua Lyzinski
  • CB South Valedictorian: Michael Rehmet | Salutatorian: Mehir Badlani
  • CB West Valedictorian: Eric A. Mass | Salutatorian: Trisha George

Of those in the CBSD class of 2022, 46% will graduate with a cumulative grade point average of 3.7 or higher, with 371 graduating summa cum laude, 210 graduating magna cum laude, and 94 graduating cum laude. More than 88% will continue their education after high school. Of those, 1,161 will attend 4-year colleges or universities and 187 will attend 2-year colleges or career/technical schools. Across all three high schools, Central Bucks school counselors processed in excess of 11,000 college applications during the 2021-2022 school year, in all. The district also wishes to acknowledge the six members of the class of 2022 who have chosen to actively serve or enter the United States Military following graduation.
