CB South voted winner of Teen Driver Safety Video PSA Challenge

Central Bucks High School South of Warrington has been voted the winner of this year’s Teen Driver Safety Video PSA Challenge powered by Comcast, TMA Bucks recently announced.

CB South was voted the winner over eight other Bucks County high schools by the “Teen Takes” student writers of the Bucks County Courier Times and The Intelligencer. Check out the video at https://youtu.be/pWCS-I4nfMY.

The winning video was put together by seniors John Livezey, Evan Aldridge, Will McAuley, and Jake Martin under the direction of media production teacher Jayne Weiss.

Central Bucks High School South media production department will now receive a $500 cash grant from TMA Bucks and the PSA will air on Comcast networking in the future.

Other schools that submitted videos this year were: Council Rock High School North, Neshaminy High School, New Hope-Solebury High School, Palisades High School, Pennsbury High School, Quakertown Community High School, Upper Bucks Technical High School and William Tennent High School.

As part of the annual Bucks County High School Seatbelt Safety Challenge all participating high schools had the opportunity to produce and submit a 30-second video PSA on teen driver safety. Winners of the Seatbelt Challenge will be announced at a later date.
