Carter Calvert brings one-woman salute to Patsy Cline to Bucks Playhouse

Carter Calvert, the Broadway actress-singer who wowed audiences at Bucks County Playhouse in 2019 as the iconic country music legend in “Always ... Patsy Cline,” will return to New Hope with her one-woman salute to Cline.
In “Walkin’ After Midnight: A Patsy Cline Tribute,” Calvert will be backed by the Roger Cohen Band and will perform 10 shows Thursdays through Sundays from Oct. 14 to 24.
“Through a colorful tapestry of iconic songs and witty personal storytelling, Calvert uses her own award-winning vocal talents to create this captivating musical tribute.”
Calvert has gained rave reviews and triumphant accolades for her heartfelt portrayal of the legendary country recording artist. She vocally captures Patsy Cline’s musical stylings in mega hits including “Crazy,” “I Fall To Pieces,” “She’s Got You” and “Walkin’ After Midnight.”

Calvert is best known for originating her role in the Tony-nominated Broadway musical “It Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues” alongside Grammy winning jazz vocalist Gregory Porter.
As a recording artist, Calvert and the Roger Cohen Trio debuted at number 13 on the CMJ jazz charts. Her CD “It’s A Man’s World” is climbing the charts, receiving rave reviews and extensive radio play.
