Carol O'Brian

Carol O’Brian of Warrington, Pa., passed away on March 19, 2022 in Neshaminy Manor, Warrington, Pa. She was 81.

Born in Harrisburg, Pa., to the late Clifton and Annie (McDougall) Bertholf, she resided in Morristown and Lambertville, N.J., before moving to Warrington, Pa., in 2018. Carol received a bachelor’s degree from Trenton State College in Ewing, N.J., and was formerly employed as the director of quality assurance for engineering with Edgineering of Princeton, N.J., before retiring in 2009.

Carol also enjoyed family and friendship, sewing, art, latch hook, reading and sudoku puzzles. Carol looked forward to going to lunch at Lambertville Station three to four days a week, where she met Peter her waiter whom she enjoyed talking to.

Carol was loved wherever she went. She was a funny and kind person who would do anything for anyone. She was the devoted mother of William and David O’Brian; dear sister of William Bertholf; dear aunt of Kimberly Bertholf; cherished friend of Sharon Frank-Jackson, husband Mike, son John and daughter Breana of Warrington, Pa. Carol will be sadly missed by many. A funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 44 Bridge Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530 on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.

Cremation services were private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the ASPCA www.aspca.org or Saint Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org would be appreciated. Send condolences to www.varcoethomasfuneralhome.com.
