Cabaret features Broadway, Gilbert & Sullivan and delicious desserts

The Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society presents an Autumn Dessert Cabaret, featuring songs of Broadway and Gilbert & Sullivan and delicious desserts and beverages, at 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Paxson Hall, 84 E. Oakland Ave., Doylestown.

The singers include Bob Binkley of New Britain; Abbi Chapman, Dennis Klöppel and Patrick Shepherd of Doylestown, Alex Gilliam of Wyncote; Sarah Folsom-Kovarik and Theresa Swartz of Ambler; Wilbur Lewis of North Brunswick, N.J.; Maria Forte of Warminster; Jane Betro of Bethlehem; Ernest Torres of New Hope; Elyse Kosinski of Neshanic Station, N.J.; Eli Rosen of Melrose Park and Kate Pelletier of North Wales.

Accompanying the cast will be Bucks Gilbert & Sullivan’s Music Director Lee F. Milhous on piano, Andrea Mauer on flute and David Deratzian on bass.

The program will feature such popular stage songs as “Stars” from “Les Miserables,” “The Nightmare Song” from “Ioanthe,” “Inside Out” from “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder” and “So In Love” from “Kiss Me, Kate.”

Tickets are $20 at the door for adults, $10 Students (18 and under). Adult tickets are $15 if purchased online by using the discount link on the group’s website at BucksGilbertAndSullivan.org.
