Bucks Women’s Advocacy Coalition hosts virtual brunch with Chef Max Hansen

Posted

The Buck’s County Women’s Advocacy Coalition will host a virtual brunch via Zoom from noon to 1:30 p.m. March 7.

Sponsored by BCWAC technology partner Delaware Valley University, the fundraising event features Bucks County chef Max Hansen, who will share brunch recipes.

His sous chef will be Diane M. Ellis-Marseglia, chair, Bucks County Commissioners. A local mixologist will provide a recipe for the event’s signature cocktail, “Ode to Women.”

Ellis-Marseglia will also “bring to the table” the county’s menu of priorities and services for women and their families. BCWAC president Marcia Telthorster will share “recipes” for the BCWAC’s 2021 advocacy work.

“When you sign up, you will receive the recipes and other information you will need to participate and have some fun while doing good,” said BCWAC Executive Director Ifeoma Aduba, who will host the event.

The formal invitation is available online at bcwac.org. Register by March 1 to participate. The cost is: $75 for admission; $150 for admission plus an autographed copy of Hansen’s book, “Smoked Salmon, Delicious Innovative Recipes” (limited availability); or $500 Bring your friends – Table of Ten.

Donations to support the work of the coalition are gratefully accepted.
