Bucks student organization slates climate summit

BSCAPE (Bucks Students for Climate Action and Protection of the Environment) invite the community to “Everything Eco: An Inconvenient Summit,” from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.

Join the local student activist organization BSCAPE for a “comprehensive, enlightening climate summit and movie” at Salem United Church of Christ, 186 E. Court St., Doylestown.

Hear presentations from youth about climate change, from the effects of animal agriculture to the Green New Deal.

View an extensive comparison of the Democratic presidential candidates’ environmental policies.

See a showing of the movie “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power,” a climate documentary by Al Gore.

Learn what you can do to help the environment on a local and global scale.

Childcare will be provided in the nursery. BSCAPE members and volunteers will provide fun Earth-related activities for young children who are unable to participate in the summit.

All profits from the event benefit BSCAPE and its next project: a local greenhouse and education center. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. Visit
