Officials from Bucks County Community College and Saint Joseph’s University recently signed an updated dual-admissions agreement, allowing students at the public, two-year college more pathways for guaranteed transfer to the four-year Jesuit institution.
The agreement allows Bucks graduates in 18 majors to seamlessly transfer to Saint Joseph’s in Philadelphia, provided they sign a nonbinding letter of intent by the time they’ve completed 30 credits at Bucks. In addition, the private university has freed up more scholarship opportunities for students transferring from Bucks.
Jody Seutter, the associate dean of advising responsible for partnerships at Bucks, said the expanded agreement with a long-standing, valued institutional partner will help students reach their academic goals.
“The addition of new transfer pathways, coupled with an increase in guaranteed scholarships for our dual-admission students, is a welcome development,” said Seutter. “We are thrilled to be updating our existing agreement with Saint Joseph’s University and look forward to further opportunities to both strengthen our partnership and provide such valuable benefits to our graduates.”
