Bucks jazz man Eric Mintel performs with his quartet

Bucks County’s Eric Mintel and his jazz quartet, the Eric Mintel Quartet, take the stage at the New Hope Winery at 8 p.m. Friday, May 20.

Mintel is currently on tour throughout the country and performing lots of originals and the music of Dave Brubeck that have made the Mintel quartet a household name in Bucks and beyond. Next year he celebrates 30 years of the EMQ. This is a rare Bucks County performance.

Joining pianist Mintel will be Nelson Hill on sax, Dave Mohn on drums and Jack Hegyi on bass. The line up has been together over 20 years.

Mintel is also the host and lead investigator at Eric Mintel Investigates, a paranormal tourism television show showcasing historical venues with great history and paranormal history ie; ghost stories. Mintel won the Princeton Tiger Award at the Nassau Film Festival last year.

His family-friendly TV show can be seen Saturday nights at 11 p.m. on Princeton TV and Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV and Android TV and Sunday nights at 10 p.m. in the Lehigh Valley on Service Electric cable TV2.
