Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month launches May 6 and will run for one month until June 6.
With the slogan, “care for yourself, help others,” people throughout the community can book appointments at participating spas, med-spas and salons and a percentage of their treatment proceeds will go to Kin Wellness and Support Center to benefit local cancer patients and their caregivers. The program will run during Mother’s Day, encouraging people to book an appointment for their mom so her treatment can benefit someone local battling cancer.
Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month has attracted the top salons, spas and med-spas across Bucks County. Over 40 businesses are participating from towns across the county. Select locations will also host special events, raffles and collection jars creating multiple ways for people to give.
Kin provides free holistic care for over 275 local cancer patients and their caregivers from Bucks County. Based in Buckingham Township, Kin operates out of a 5,000-square-foot all-inclusive facility and is 100% funded through donations and community support.
The Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month has a dedicated webpage at www.welcometokin.org where participating locations are listed with a hyperlink to their business so people can easily contact and book an appointment.As a visual indicator, all participating locations will have a decal displayed in their window.
