Bucks County Playhouse slates fall lineup of programs

Bucks County Playhouse is offering both virtual and in-person education programs this fall.
Improv for Adults is a virtual class via Zoom. It takes place 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays Oct. 21, Nov. 4, Nov. 18 and Dec. 2.
The class offers two hours of collaborative acting games, improv techniques and opportunities to nurture creativity. No experience necessary. The class is for ages 15 to adult.
Intermediate Tap and Broadway Jazz will take place in Lambertville Hall, 57 Bridge Street, Lambertville, N.J.
Led by professional dancer Dani Tucci Juraga, Intermediate Tap, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturdays, Oct. 23 to Nov. 20, will cover a brief review of beginner basics and fundamentals, progressing onto intermediate tap steps and advanced versions of the tap basics including traveling time-steps, syncopated rhythms, fancy-footwork, and tap tricks. Drop in for one class or register for all five. Advanced beginners are also welcome; ages 12 to adult.

Broadway Jazz is 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Saturdays, Oct. 23 to Nov. 20.
All experience levels are welcome in this high-energy class that combines the styles and movements of jazz with a variety of your favorite Broadway songs. Led by Juraga, drop in for one class or register for all five; ages 12 to adult.
Acting for Adults runs 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 2 to Dec. 14 onstage at the Playhouse, 70 S. Main St., New Hope.
Through assigned scenes and monologues the class teaches the basic techniques toward reaching truthful behavior in acting. Students of varying levels are encouraged to sign up. You can be a curious beginner or a more experienced performer; ages 17 to 60-plus.
