The Bucks County Opportunity Council recently announced a new location in Upper Bucks County for its free farmers market – Fresh Connect – as well as each location’s hours.
Each week, on the same day and at the same time, the agency provides healthy food to some 44,000 county residents facing hunger, 34% of whom are children, according to BCOC.
Fresh Connect hours are as follows, or until the food is gone.
– Tuesdays in Warminster, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1100 Veterans Way, Warminster, drive-thru;
– Wednesdays in Quakertown, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Quakertown Memorial Park, 600 W. Mill Road, Quakertown, walk-thru;
– The first and third Thursday of each month in Palisades, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Palisades Middle School, 4710 Durham Road, Kintnersvile, drive-thru;
