Bucks County jail inmate dies; fourth death this year

The death of a 50-year-old man at the Bucks County Correctional Facility in Doylestown Township marks the fourth death there this year, and the second this month.

The inmate, who officials have not yet identified, died July 14. He was pronounced dead at Doylestown Hospital.

No further details were released by county officials, as of press time.

The first inmate death at the facility this year was 46-year-old Edwin Dunfee. The Philadelphia man died by suicide.

Christopher Robert, of New Hope, died by intentionally choking on food, according to the Bucks County Coroner. He was 25.

Floyd Harper died by hanging himself in his cell on July 3, officials said. The Tullytown Borough man was 37.
