Herald Foundation to hold “Executive Exchange” June 5

The Bucks County Herald Foundation will hold its inaugural “Executive Exchange” for the Business Friends of the Herald on Wednesday, June 5 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Vela Restaurant in Doylestown.

Guests will be treated to an open bar, appetizers, and a signature drink called “The Deadline.”

Bucks County Herald Editor-in-Chief John Anastasi will give brief remarks and hold a press conference style Q&A with guests.

Much of the event will be spent giving business leaders a chance to meet each other and the Herald Foundation Board of Directors.

“We’re looking forward to celebrating local business leaders who have helped keep local journalism alive and, as a result, our community and local economy thrive,” said Joe Wingert, publisher of the Herald and Vice Chair of the foundation’s board. “It is also a chance to network with fellow leaders who are community-minded and want the best for Bucks County.”

The lead sponsor of the Executive Exchange is Worth & Company, a full-service mechanical contractor based in Plumsteadville and serving the Mid-Atlantic region. Penn Community Bank and Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty are supporting sponsors.

The Business Friends of the Herald make an annual commitment of $250 or more in support of the Herald Foundation’s mission to help communities and democracy thrive through trusted local journalism and civic dialogue.

The new Executive Exchange is part of a series of events that are designed for leaders whose businesses support the Bucks County Herald Foundation.

Registration closes on Thursday, May 30.
