PA Department of Health provides update on COVID-19 – 682 two-day new positives bring statewide total to 150,812

The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of noon, Sept. 21, that there are 682 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 150,812. All 67 counties in Pennsylvania have cases of COVID-19. There are 8,004 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 15 new deaths reported.
 
There are 1,767,181 patients who have tested negative to date.

Delaware County 11,158 cases and 751 deaths
Lehigh County 5,994 cases and 350 deaths
Montgomery County 11,962 cases and 874 deaths

Philadelphia 30,987 cases and 1,809 deaths

New Jersey cases total 200,154

The New Jersey Department of Health announced that as of Sept. 21 there are 200,154 cases of COVID-19. That includes 396 new cases and 9 new deaths in the state since Sept. 14.. The transmission rate is 1.12.

There are 8,567 Mercer County residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 and 600 people have died. In Mercer County, there are 4 new cases and also 36 probable deaths from COVID-19. Hunterdon County reports 1,286 cases and 71 confirmed deaths plus 36 probable deaths from COVID-19. There are 4 new cases in Hunterdon County.

In the state, 3,352,791 have been tested.
