PA Department of Health provides update on COVID-19 – 860 positives bring statewide total to 111,078

The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of noon, July 30, that there are 860 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 111,078. All 67 counties in Pennsylvania have cases of COVID-19. There are 7,176 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 14 new deaths reported. County-specific information and a statewide map are available on the COVID-19 Data Dashboard.
Allegheny County is reporting an increase of 132 cases and Philadelphia County is reporting an increase of 127 cases.

  • Chester County: 4,786 cases and 343 deaths
  • Delaware County: 8,610 cases and 684 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 4,795 cases and 335 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 9,723 cases and 847 deaths
  • Northampton County: 3,816 cases and 289 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 25,534 cases and 1,676 deaths

The number of tests administered within the last 7 days between July 23 and July 29 is 163,936 with 6,822 positive cases. There were 22,996 test results reported to the department through 10 p.m., July 29. These results represent the total number of tests administered.
