Bucks County Community College hosts registration sessions

Bucks County Community College offers several opportunities for interested students to register for the spring semester.

Students may register through Tuesday, Jan. 22 in time for the start of 15-week classes Wednesday, Jan. 23. Registration for accelerated courses that begin Feb. 11 and March 25 is also available until the day before classes start.

Current students can complete the registration process online at bucks.edu/spring. Prospective students may apply online or in person, and then drop in for placement testing at the Newtown Campus, plus academic advising and registration at the following times and locations.

– Tuesday, Jan. 15: 1 to 7 p.m., Upper Bucks Campus, One Hillendale Road, Perkasie;

– Wednesday, Jan. 16: 1 to 7 p.m., Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks, 1304 Veterans Highway, Bristol;

– Thursday, Jan. 17: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Linksz Pavilion, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown;

– Friday, Jan. 18: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Linksz Pavilion;

– Tuesday, Jan. 22: 1 to 9 p.m., Linksz Pavilion;

More than 430 courses are available this spring. Classes meet at the original campus in Newtown, the Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks and the Upper Bucks Campus. In addition, nearly half of the courses are offered through Bucks Online, the college’s award-winning virtual campus, while several are available in a “hybrid” format, which is a combination of online learning and in-person class meetings.

Bucks, an open-admission, public college that does not require SAT or ACT scores, offers more than 80 programs of study. Tuition is $150 a credit for Bucks County residents, and most credits transfer to a long list of four-year colleges and universities.
