Bucks County Book Festival is returning to Doylestown

Posted

The Bucks County Book Festival – a Discover Doylestown Event – has again partnered with the Doylestown Book Shop to present the next Bucks County Book Festival October 12-13.

Now in its second year, this event will expand upon the success of its inaugural year. The 2018 Book Festival drew more than 50 authors and 30 vendors. Over 98 percent of the 2018 participants indicate they will return in 2019.

The Bucks County Book Festival provides guests the opportunity to celebrate books and writers in Doylestown, the town USA Today called “Best Small Town Cultural Scene,” and a town called home by Pulitzer Prize-winning writers Pearl S. Buck and James Michener.

If you want to be a part of the Bucks County Book Festival and are an author or a nonprofit with a literary focus, you can join the festival in the Marketplace on Hamilton Street. Organizations may submit a vendor application for consideration. Applications will be reviewed in July and successful applicants notified by end of the month.

To apply, visit bucksbookfest.org/vendors.
