The Village Improvement Association (VIA) and the Bucks County Country Gentlemen will partner to benefit the preservation of the James-Lorah Memorial Home, with two concerts Sunday, March 24.
With shows at 1 and 4 p.m., the chorus and quartets will present a concert about the historic home. A musical timeline theme of the “Two Best Kept Secrets in Doylestown” will be presented.
The concert will be held in the JLMH auditorium, located at the corner of Broad and Main streets in Doylestown.
The Bucks County Country Gentlemen (BCCG) will perform a century of songs, bringing to life the beginning of the VIA in 1895 and the BCCG in 1975. Both are longtime and unique organizations.
Free parking is available in the county parking garage, located near the home.
Tickets are $18, or $15 for seniors, at via-doylestown.org, or at the door the day of the event.
