Bucks artist Jane Ramsey buys Simons Fine Art in Dublin

Posted

Since 2003, Yvonne Leathead, owner of Simons Fine Art in Dublin, has provided custom framing along with a gallery showcasing fine art and gifts.
Over the last 18 years, the gallery has hosted many Bucks County artists and their work. For the past five years, artist Jane Ramsey’s work has been displayed in the gallery.
With retirement plans in place, Leathead and her husband, Gordon, began to work with Ramsey on taking over the business. On Oct. 22, the sale was finalized, and Ramsey will continue operating Simons Fine Art Framing.

“I am so thrilled to be carrying on the business that Yvonne worked so hard to build as well as the expanded studio and display space for my own artwork,” said Ramsey. Leathead is equally pleased to see “her business carry on with fine art framing and her staff retain their employment.”
A Bucks County artist, Ramsey works in watercolors and graphite and is primarily a plein air painter – working from direct observation outdoors. She also works on commissioned projects and provides private art instruction. The gallery will continue its eight-year relationship with local oil painter Mark McCoy, whose work will still be on display.
Simons Fine Art Framing is located at 122 N. Main St., Dublin. Find out more on the gallery’s website or by calling 215-249-9155.
