Bucks Artist in Residence Alan Fetterman shows at The Carversville Kitchen


For the month of July, Alan Fetterman who is well-known for his Impressionist paintings of Bucks County, will exhibit at The Carversville Kitchen in the heart of Carversville, at 6208 Fleecydale Road.

Fetterman, an award-winning Bucks County artist, produces work sought and collected for continuing the Pennsylvania and Bucks County Impressionist and plein air traditions.

He has been featured in 40-plus solo-exhibitions and showcased various creations in over 150 art galleries in places diverse as Carmel, Calif., Curitiba, Brazil, and Vero Beach, Fla.

He is Bucks County’s first Artist in Residence and has garnered many awards, including The Philadelphia Sketch Club Medal of Honor and the CBCC Lifetime Achievement award.

The show will run from July 1 to 31 with a three-day event that is a collaboration between Alan Fetterman Fine Arts, Susan Roseman and The Carversville Kitchen.

The three-day opening reception will also be the inaugural celebration of The Carversville Kitchen’s art, music and community venue in Carversville.

The opening celebration takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 12, with a 20 minute poetry blast at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, July 13, artwork and the original music of “Franklin” the band will be featured, with the first set 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and the second set from 6:30 to 8 p.m., along with food and beverages.

There will be an afternoon of deserts and fine art, from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 14.
