Bucks Allstate agencies help Toys for Tots earn grant

Posted

Allstate agencies throughout Pennsylvania and New England recently teamed-up with the Toys for Tots Foundation to collect new, unwrapped toys for local children.

Between October and December 2018, participating agencies received more than 5,500 donations from community members.

Thanks to the volunteerism of participants, like Bucks County agency owners James Westover, Greg Kramer, Brian King and Tatsiana Maroz, Toys for Tots received a $30,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® Grant to further their work.

“This year’s Toys for Tots donation drive was a huge success thanks to our incredible customers and community members,” said Greg Kramer, Newtown Allstate agency owner. “Our donation boxes were overflowing thanks to their generosity. I’m so proud to be a part of this community and to join my fellow Allstate agency owners in supporting such a great cause.”

Toys for Tots and The Allstate Foundation have worked closely together over the last two years to organize a multi-state donation drive in hundreds of Allstate agencies. Together, they have rallied communities across the Northeast to give back to families in need.

Since 2017, Allstate volunteers in Pennsylvania and New England have earned $112,000 in Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grants for the Toys for Tots Foundation, helping fulfill the holiday dreams of thousands of children.
