Bristol Senior Center to host “CyberSecurity for Seniors”

Posted

At 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, Bristol Township Senior Center will host “CyberSecurity for Seniors” presented by the Secret Service.

The event, arranged by Mike Bannon, director of Bucks County Consumer Protection Agency, will be held at the Senior Center in person at 2501 Bath Road, Bristol, as well as virtually on Facebook Live.

Recently there has been an increase in cyber crimes against seniors and there is a need to be aware of how to be protected. These crimes come in all different forms and often come from outside the United States. They are getting much more sophisticated and easy to fall for. It is easier not to fall for a cyber crime than it is to get money or information back.

Register for the in-person event by calling 215-785-6322 or visit Facebook Live at facebook.com/events/434405005372252.
