The Doylestown and Lahaska Bookshops booksellers pride themselves on recommending the perfect book for each of their customers.
They will now be able to deliver books right to readers’ doorsteps with their new My Book Box subscription program.
The bookshops will offer four book box themes: a children’s picture book box, young readers book box, teen reads book box and an adult book box that will ship on the 15th of each month. Once consumers select their box through the website, they will be directed to fill out an online questionnaire, which will allow further customization of their book box.
“As an independent bookstore, we are constantly looking for ways to engage readers and make the journey towards finding the perfect book and easy one. This program will allow us to expand our reach to online customers and to those who do not live in the area but would like to shop with and support an independent bookstore,” said Krisy Elisii, the Doylestown and Lahaska Bookshop’s marketing and events manager.
