Bluegrass band Nefesh Mountain performs Hanukkah concert in Sellersville

Posted

“Nefesh Mountain, A Hanukkah Holiday Tour” comes to the Sellersville Theater at 8 p.m. Dec. 1.
The tour launches Nov. 27 and on Nov. 19, the album “Live From Levon Helm Studios: A Hanukkah Holiday Concert” will be available. The music was originally recorded in 2020 as part of the group’s successful livestream event filmed at Helm’s iconic studios outside of Woodstock, N.Y.

The songs are a combination of original material written by the bluegrass Americana band’s founders (husband and wife Eric Lindberg and Doni Zasloff), traditional tunes, classics written by James Taylor and Bob Dylan, and three lesser-known Hanukkah songs written by Woody Guthrie.
On stage with the founders will be longtime bandmate and fiddle player Alan Grubner, David Goldenberg on mandolin, and Sam Weber on bass.
