Blue Moon Acres offering organic produce boxes, Chrismas dinner boxes

Posted

Blue Moon Acres Farm in Buckingham and Pennington, N.J., is now offering certified organic Blue Moon Box produce boxes year-round.

The boxes include any mix of certified organic produce grown on the farm, microgreens from the greenhouses, Blue Moon’s own New Jersey-grown rice (featured by The New York Times), and its handmade Herbarium collection. In the winter months, the boxes will include certified organic produce from trusted local farms. Everything is freshly harvested.

The boxes are offered in two sizes: small and large. The small box is suitable to feed a family of two for a week; the large feeds a family of four or more. Sign up for one-time or weekly (subscription) deliveries.

Also available with the Blue Moon Box is the opportunity to add on items from food artisans. Check the shop each week to see who is featured.

Boxes will be offered each week for a Friday home delivery or on farm pick up at either of the Buckingham or Pennington farms. Order deadline is Tuesdays by 2 p.m.

This holiday season, gift a subscription to Blue Moon Boxes, handmade herbarium body care products, or freshly-husked, certified organic rice featured in the New York Times. Customers can also order the Christmas Dinner Box, which features everything you need for dinner – just add your favorite protein. Included items are: microgreen sampler, cranberries, celery, Yukon gold potatoes, baby spinach, full-sized herbs, lettuce mix, ginger, yams, carrots, beets, mushrooms, Satsuma mandarins, radishes and fennel.

Items will be harvested fresh from the farms or brought in from local trusted partners. Order deadline is 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18. Orders will be delivered or ready for pickup on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

Customers can use promo code “BLUE10!” for 10% off their first order. Also offered is 10% off of all boxes when individuals sign up for a weekly subscription to any size Blue Moon Box.
