Posted

U.S. Rep, Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1) said his bipartisan bill with U.S. Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12) to rename the Washington Crossing Post Office the “Susan C. Barnhart Post Office” passed the House of Representatives.

Susan Barnhart was one of the seven victims who lost their lives in the catastrophic flash flooding on Route 532/Washington Crossing Road in Bucks County on July 15, 2023. A dedicated employee of the Washington Crossing Post Office and resident of Titusville, N.J., Barnhart was beloved by the Bucks and Mercer County communities alike.

The bill must now go before the Senate.
